Hot Converting Offers For The Rest Of Q1 And Q2: Mobile And Dating
Now that the Valentines Day is over and the flower offers increasingly stop converting, what are the hot offers to promote in the affiliate marketing space for Q1 and Q2? Simple, ringtones and dating offers. These offers have shown a fair amount of consistency, although that could be argued for ringtones.
Dating in particular holds more promise as it is consistent and not under the scrutiny that ringtones are under. Dating is established and reputable. The challenged of course with dating, much as with ringtones is the cut-throat competitive nature. As a publisher, the importance of differentiation, particularly going long will pay off by leaps and bounds. Publishers that are able to understand the intent of their users and target towards that intent will excel. Long gone are the days when you can just bid on some general broad terms and see the money come in.
Further to the challenges in the ringtone space, the FTC and certain attorney generals have been increasingly cracking down on deceptive marketing practices around the usage of the word free and complimentary. No longer can ringtone aggregators and publishers bid on these terms and then turn around and charge users and make it difficult for them to cancel. Those that do and are participating in these practices undoubtedly are on very thin ice and face a very grim future.
For those publishers that are not looking to promote a ringtone or dating offer there all always the Blockbuster offers, Debt Consolidation, Insurance and car loan offers, but they too are fairly competitive.
The advice here is to do the research, find a niche market that is untapped, or that is not overly competitive. Once you have found this niche market, understand it, what are the users intents? Based on the intent tailor the landing page and ad-copy to support this to engage the users. Ensure that you have maximum conversions through the complete funnel (or what you can control). Not only will this convert better for you the publisher, but the advertisers also will appreciate your efforts.
