Phorm Is Not Alone, NebuAd Discusses ISP Data Sensitivities

April 4, 2008 – 7:12 am

There has been so much talk about Phorm and privacy concerns in the UK, but over here in the United States it’s been fairly quite. NebuAd is getting some attention such as a post the appeared on AlwaysOn’s blog called Selling (to) the Community and most recently Right-Now Buyers.

In the posts, NebuAd’s CEO Robert Dykes discus’s how advertisers using behavioral targeting are and can cope with users who are increasingly becoming sensitive to privacy. I posted a blog entry recently discussing Phorm being targeted by privacy advocates which readers will find interesting.

Advertisers and investors though still need to keep in mind the infancy of the technology and the lack of proven performance discussed here.

UPDATE: The Washington Post ran a story today called, Every Click You Make which discus’s ISP Targeted advertising and NebuAd.
