- Only 25% Of Viewers See Web Ads Below The Fold by Tameka Kee. We all know that inventory below the fold is worth less, but did we know that 25% of viewers don’t even see our ads below the fold? The study was conducted by MarketingSherpa who commissioned Eyetools to run an eye tracking study in February. Very interesting results – a must read article!
- Phorm’s All-Seeing Parasite Cookie by Sual Hansell. Wow the NY Times has been all over Phorm and NebuAd lately with great coverage. Readers interested in Deep Packet Inspection and ISP based advertising will be interested in Hansell’s interpretation of how Phorm is using Cookies.

IAB chief executive Guy Phillipson stated, “With broadband speeds on the up and consumers spending more time on more sites, the outlook for online advertising is rosy — in fact we expect it to overtake TV in 2009 when it will become the UK’s biggest medium,” TV Networks in the UK must be happy to hear that!
