CAPTCHA, Azoogle & comScore, and Friendster’s OpenSocial

Many users are familiar with CAPTCHA, but did you know it is used for more than just verification?

Azoogle (my employer) has been ranked the 28th largest ad network domestically for July by ComScore, Inc. The monthly reach through the Azoogle Ad Display Network now spans over 40 million unique visitors a month, more information here.

Begging today, Friendster will allow developers to submit OpenSocial compliant apps. This on the heals of Facebook’s huge success and MySpace’s recent entry into the app marketplace – “Google’s OpenSocial platform allows developers to create a a single application that will work across multiple social networks that support the platform’s API” – more here.
