For example, there were 160 investments and 100 acquisitions last year. The average investment was just over $14 million, while the average acquisition was close to $330 million.
Finally, Lotame closed series B funding totaling $13 million. Lotame collects anonymous user data to understand key demographics each site offers by placing code on some 20 social sites. By collecting this data, such as gender, zip and D.O.B. Lotame is able to specifically target what advertisers are looking for - more information can be found here.
