Behavioural Targeting On the ISP Level Gets Targeted

Readers of this blog will know I have been posting about Phorm and Nebuad for some time. The technology is promising, but too intrusive for many users comfort levels. Today, Nebuad CEO Bob Dykes announced he was resigning from the company. Since the early summer congress has been paying very close attention to the technology used behind Nebuad, Deep Packet Inspaction. Phorm this week also provided an update on their progress.

Today also came the announcment that NebuAd has halted it’s expansion plans more perspective can also be found here.

Facebook meanwhile is expanding on it’s beacon offering by providing advertisers with targeted opportunities.
