So how is it that these types of video get so much attention in such a short period of time? Well, these video’s make you feel good when you watch them. The video’s are also a great way to get a break from the day and a way to interact with friends – they are the perfect viral mix at work!

Marketers have also seen success with viral efforts. OfficeMax comes to mind with the Elf Yourself campaign. The key ingredient was not the brand, but the interactive functionality that made it easy to get a laugh with coworkers faces put on dancing Elf’s coupled with music. OfficeMax was not front and center, but rather subtly located. The brand took a back seat to the message, clearly a key component.

It just goes to show that there is huge demand and potential for the creation of cleaver, humorous feel good video campaigns.
