Huge Oppertunity To Advertise Online In Canada?

A five year exclusive deal comes to an end on September 1st between Microsoft Corp. and BCE Inc’s Bell Canada. This means the Web portal, sympatico.MSN.ca will close and be replaced individually by MSN.ca and sympatico.ca. This could spell new opportunity for advertisers in the Canadian marketplace.

Often times during mergers and acquisitions or when a partnership contractually ends, a ton of web inventory becomes available. It could be compared to the the beginning of a quarter at Yahoo, there is a lot more inventory – generally at a much lower rate readily available.

Advertisers should be paying close attention, inventory could potentially be had at very competitive pricing. For advertisers that have not advertised through MSN or sympatico…well perhaps now is a good time!
